🔗 Share this article Football Analyst Chris Sutton Faces Off Against Singer Olly Murs in Premier League Predictions The Gunners' ten-match winning run was ended by the Black Cats before the international hiatus, but can the English top division frontrunners recover against north London rivals Spurs this weekend? "{I feel like Arsenal are miles ahead of Tottenham at the moment but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a plan for this game," remarked football specialist Chris Sutton. "The Spurs manager will try to neutralize Arsenal, who have not always been at their sparkling best this season - but Mikel Arteta's team typically still find a way to win." The analyst is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League games this term, versus artificial intelligence, readers and a variety of guests. For week 12, he takes on performer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United fan. Murs' new record, Knees Up, is out on the weekend. Soccer and Family Experiences Murs is a skilled footballer as well as a successful singer and has been a star of several charity football matches over time - but he is not planning a serious return as a player. "{I recently played in a benefit game the other night for a mate of mine," he said. "My team was trailing 3-1 when I was substituted in the second half, and they proceeded to win 4-3, so you can interpret that what you will! "I continue to love football, but I hurt my knee a few years ago and it still hasn't fully recovered. I wish I could play more but the uncertainty of the game means it's too dangerous for me in my profession to do it seriously again. "Additionally I am 41 now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very content not playing football and I am gearing up for the time that my daughter or son decides to play instead." The singer and his wife Amelia Tank have a young family, Madison and their son, and he is prepared to emulate his dad by taking on the role of their manager. "I won't force football on our kids but I've previously told Amelia that if they happen to get the bug for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will probably be managing their Saturday soccer team," he added. "I observed my nephews play a lot, and I really got into it, and I clearly owned a soccer team for a while too. "My dad coached with us when I was a kid, which is likely where I get it from. He managed our side for several seasons and had a wonderful time with it. That might be the future for me as well, and I am excited to it!" Top Division Forecasts Saturday, 22 November Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT The Blues might have to wait a bit longer for their star's return from injury but their attack is now stronger with Joao Pedro and Delap both back fit. In my opinion this fixture will be fairly tight, though. Burnley are disciplined and their only at Turf Moor defeats so far have been against the Reds and Arsenal. This suggests a 1-1 draw to me, but I am actually going to go with Chelsea to edge it for what would be their third consecutive Premier League win in a row. Sutton's forecast: 1-2 Olly's prediction: The Blues will be superior. 1-3 AI's outlook: 0-2 Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT The Cherries have been defeated in their previous couple games - albeit both of them were away - but they got absolutely spanked by Villa last time out which surprised me. In contrast, West Ham won two in a row before the hiatus and, although both of those fixtures were at home, they appear strong again. The Hammers' only away win this campaign came at Nottingham Forest in August, when their boss Nuno was still that team's coach. Therefore, what on earth do I go with here - can the Hammers continuing their streak under Nuno, or the home side bouncing back? I will go with the Cherries, because I believe what occurred against Villa was a blip. The pundit's prediction: 2-0 The guest's outlook: Bournemouth are doing well but West Ham have picked up under their boss. 2-2 The algorithm's prediction: 1-1 Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT The Bees were considered one of the frontrunners for the drop before the campaign started, but they have impressed a several observers under their manager and are in good form with three wins in their last four matches. A family member told me to select Brentford striker Thiago in my fantasy soccer squad a few weeks ago and, guess what, I ignored the advice. The forward will likely find the net again on Saturday but I am nonetheless not going to select him or back the away side at Brighton's ground. They have not had great success on the travel this season, and Brighton are always decent at their stadium. The visitors will attempt to attack on the counter-attack but I think the home manager's side carry much more of a threat. Sutton's prediction: 2-1 Olly's prediction: It could be a match where you expect there is going to be a many scores but it in reality proves to be quite close. 1-1 AI's outcome: 2-1 Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT It is a huge game for the Cottagers, who have lost five of their last six games. Fulham have got lots of quality in their team but it still feels like they could be sucked into a relegation battle. As for the Black Cats, well they are the surprise package of the top flight season so far. The away side's display in the 2-2 draw with Arsenal last time out was superb. We have not witnessed anyone else disrupt the North London side like that this season, and Sunderland were more than a match for them. The sensible thing would be to support the Black Cats here, because they are obviously capable of disrupting the hosts up too and, the last time they were in west London, they defeated the Blues at the close of October. But I am not do that. Rather, I really need to carry on going against Sunderland with my predictions. I am taking a lot of responsibility for their positive results because they evidently love to prove me wrong. Looking at Fulham's home form, the only team they have been defeated by is Arsenal. Their manager's side will be absolutely desperate for a positive outcome, so I am going to predict they will secure three points. The expert's prediction: 1-0 The guest's prediction: I'm aware Sunderland are doing well and additionally that Fulham are on a bad streak... but Fulham have still been decent at home this season. 2-0 The algorithm's prediction: 2-0 Anfield, 15:00 GMT This is a hard one to call. The Reds have lost seven of their past 10 matches in every tournament, but could they be among the teams who profit from the {international break|
