Following months of speculation, the battle royale mode for Battlefield 6 is officially releasing. Recent talk indicating its release would align with the new season were true. Fans can access the gameplay starting tomorrow.

Alongside the BR release, Season 1 is also beginning. This introduces a new map, a additional style, and new weapons. Additionally, Redsec is being introduced. An included trailer will become available at release, providing players a glimpse of what's to come.

Maybe the biggest news is that Battlefield Redsec will be free-to-play. Much like established games, you do not need to own the main title to join in. Some participants have already tested pre-release builds of the game type.
